Zili rugs are manufactured by hand, using flat-weave processes. They are approximately 10 mm thick.
The materials used are wool, sisal and PET, ideal for their strength, with the possibility of creating geometric designs or borders.
Selvage, bound or fringe edge options available.
They are fully customisable in a wide variety of colours and shapes, and are available in square, rectangular and round formats.
With wool it is possible to recreate an "abrush" effect, the typical colour changes in raw wools.
What sets this collection apart from the others?
The Zili Pet collection is eco-sustainable, as the PET materials used in the production of Zili Pet carpets are sourced entirely from recycled plastic bottles. The bottles are collected, divided into different colours and washed, before undergoing a process during which they are flaked and then fused so as to produce the continuous yarn used to weave the rugs.
Not only does this technique reduce pollution, while promoting an ecological approach to the design process, it also results in an end product that is ideal for outdoor use: as attractive as it is resistant to usage and constant exposure to sunlight and every type of weather.
The fabrics obtained using this method are both elegant and sustainable, and thanks to their versatility and unique safety characteristics, they are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
